At DM Girls Hostel, we strive to provide a seamless and hassle-free experience for our residents. To maintain transparency and clarity regarding payments and refunds, we have outlined our policies below. Please read these carefully before making any payments or bookings.

1. Payment Policy

  • Reservation Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This amount is non-refundable but will be adjusted against your total fees.
  • Monthly Fees: Hostel fees are due in advance on a monthly basis. Payments must be made by the 5th of each month. Failure to pay on time may result in late fees or termination of the accommodation agreement.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments through cash, bank transfers, and digital payment methods like UPI or debit/credit cards.

2. Refund Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that could require you to cancel your stay or request a refund. The following conditions apply for refunds:

a) Cancellation Before Check-in:

  • If a resident cancels their booking 7 days or more prior to the check-in date, a 50% refund of the total booking amount (excluding the reservation deposit) will be processed.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.

b) Early Termination of Stay:

  • If you choose to leave the hostel before the end of your agreed stay, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the month already paid.
  • For prepaid long-term stays (3 months or more), an early termination fee will be applied, and a refund may be granted for the remaining months after deducting this fee, provided 30 days’ notice is given in advance.

c) Security Deposit Refund:

  • Upon vacating the hostel, the security deposit (if applicable) will be refunded, provided there are no damages to the property or outstanding dues. Any deductions for repairs or unpaid fees will be communicated in writing before the refund is processed.
  • The security deposit will be refunded within 15 working days after vacating the hostel.

d) Non-Refundable Payments:

  • The reservation deposit and any payment made towards meals or additional services (such as laundry or Wi-Fi) are non-refundable.

3. Refund Process

  • Initiation: All refund requests must be made in writing to the hostel management at [Insert Contact Details]. Please provide your payment receipt and booking details.
  • Processing Time: Once approved, refunds will be processed within 10-15 working days and will be credited back via the original payment method.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • No refund will be given if you are asked to leave the hostel due to violation of hostel rules and regulations, including but not limited to misconduct, failure to adhere to safety guidelines, or late fee payments.

5. Amendments to the Policy

DM Girls Hostel reserves the right to modify this Payment & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to residents in advance.
